Linkedin App for Android Launched

Not to be outdone by other social networking services, Linkedin, one of the most popular business social networking services, has launched an Android app of their own. The app first launched as a beta back in December 2010 and has just been released as a stable product.

The app has six primary modules. The app lets do you most of what you can do on the web site. It allows users to post and receive updates from all contacts in their network. Messaging and accepting invitations to join other networks is also part of the features being offering. Work on future builds has already begun and there’s even a community on the Linkedin service dedicated to the app. Linkedin has an app for Blackberry phones, which was launched early last year. There are also apps for Apple iOS devices and even Palm Pre ones.
